About Nancy & Woodstock Palm Resort

My name is Nancy Vanhoucke, and since March 15, 2023, I have been the proud owner of Woodstock Palmresort Curaçao. I visited the island for the first time in 2015 and was immediately sold. The rugged nature, the tranquility, the relaxed atmosphere, the beaches with delicious food and drinks, the snorkeling, the touring to hidden spots... I couldn't get enough of it. And then there are the consistently high temperatures and the Dutch-speaking population – a tropical piece of the Netherlands in the Caribbean!

During a trip in 2021, the seed to emigrate was planted, and after much thought, planning, and dreaming, it became a reality. On January 14, 2022, I was granted Dutch citizenship, and the real adventure began. Just lying on the beach? That was not an option. I wanted to do something that made my heart beat faster and that would make others happy.

And so Woodstock Palmresort was born – a place where I welcome my guests with open arms. I previously worked as a funeral director; now, I lovingly ensure a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, and a stay where you can completely unwind. The administration, the contact with guests, the constant improvement of the resort… it is all part of what I do here with heart and soul.
